Eighth graders from Woodland Hills Junior High, Woodland Hills Academy, and local Catholic schools will join on May 15th for Transition Day. Throughout the day students will tour the building and sign up for sports and clubs of their choice. The WHHS musical Curtains received seven nominations for the Gene Kelly Awards. Announced on May 7th, the nominations include best musical, best lighting, best set design, best costumes, best crew, best choreography, and best direction. The Gene Kelly Awards were created in 1991 to award high schools and recognize them for their performances and emphasis on musical theater and arts education.
