Woody High Welcomes Class of 2016

Eighth graders from Woodland Hills Junior High, Woodland Hills Academy, and local Catholic schools will join on May 15th for Transition Day.  Throughout the day students will tour the building and sign up for sports and clubs of their choice.  Teachers, students in good standing and student leadership members will chaperone groups, and students in sports and clubs will represent their various activities attend the activity fair. WHHS Musical receives 7 nominations

The WHHS musical Curtains received seven nominations for the Gene Kelly Awards.  Announced on May 7th, the nominations include best musical, best lighting, best set design, best costumes, best crew, best choreography, and best direction. The Gene Kelly Awards were created in 1991 to award high schools and recognize them for their performances and emphasis on musical theater and arts education.  There are currently 13 different categories.  In these 21 years of existence, WHHS musicals have been nominated 10 times for best...
